Healthy Turkey Wrap

Healthy Turkey Wrap

I hope you all had a nice weekend. Ours was a great one that was spent with family and the beach (two of my favorite things).  As the weekend winded down, I started planning my weekly meals and workouts.  I couldn’t decide what to make for lunch tomorrow. I knew that I wanted it to be healthy and I knew that I only wanted to spend a few minutes making it (after all, it’s  still the weekend and I want to enjoy the last few hours left before the busy work week begins).

Here are the ingredients that you’ll need to make 2 wraps:
Photobucket
2 whole wheat tortillas
2 oz. deli turkey
12 slices of cucumbers
8 cherry tomatoes cut in half
Handful of spring mix

Before making your wraps, microwave each tortilla for about 20-30 seconds to make it more pliable. It will wrap easier without breaking.

Next, slice the cucumbers and cherry tomatoes.

Now, place 1 oz. of deli turkey, 6 slices of cucumbers, 4 sliced tomatoes, and a handful of spring mix on top of each whole wheat tortilla. (You can also top with 1 tbsp. of ranch or your choice of dressing).

Wrap & and enjoy!

Nutrition information:  Each wrap only has 194 calories and 2.4 grams of fat!  The balance of lean protein and healthy carbohydrates will help keep you full longer. Be careful to limit your servings of deli meat, as it usually contains a high amount of sodium.

Do you plan your meals for the week?

  1. Hi,
I had a version of this for lunch yesterday! My version was on 100calorie flatbread. Next time I think I’ll add dried cranberries or fresh raspberries for a different flavor.
