You can do this using any kind of cardio equipment:

  • Treadmill
  • Elliptical
  • Stair climber
  • Stationary bike
  • Row machine

You can also do this outside if you’d like.

Here’s what you do:

  • For the warm-up, you’ll walk or jog at a slow pace for 5 minutes. Your goal is to warm up your body and prepare it for a great workout!
  • If you’re using a treadmill or running outside, you will go as fast as you can go for 30 seconds. You will then slow down your pace to either a walk or slow jog for another 30 seconds. You’ll repeat this for 20 minutes.
  • If you’re using the elliptical, stair climber, stationary bike, or rowing machine, you will increase the resistance to be challenging and go as hard as you can for 30 seconds. You will then decrease the resistance for the next 30 seconds. You’ll repeat this for 20 minutes.

Don’t forget to cool down & stretch!

Be sure to check with your doctor before beginning a new fitness routine.
