Hey friends! I hope your week is off to a great start. I am still coming off of my runner’s high from Sunday’s race Smile

Sunday night we put up our Christmas tree (yes, it’s definitely early but we usually put our decorations up a week before Thanksgiving). This year we have 2 Thanksgivings to celebrate and I am hosting the first one this Saturday…so technically, I guess our tradition is still in place. Hey, I love Christmas so I don’t mind having it up this early at all. Smile

Speaking of Christmas, today felt like Christmas because I came home to a package on the front step (I LOVE shopping online..I may have a problem…hahaha). There was a Power Bar vendor set up at the race and they were handing out these gummies. Usually, I tend not to eat this kind of processed stuff, but they taste AMAZING! Do you know those little gummy soda bottle that you used to eat when you were a kid? That’s what these taste like. Yum!  I also ordered some other kind of gummies, but these are for cold season.

I woke up yesterday and this morning feeling extremely congested and just feeling all around exhausted, so I decided to take both days off from exercising. You should hear all of the coughs and sneezes in my classroom. I guess it’s going around…’tis the season. These immune support vitamins came at a perfect time.

My day started out with some extra strong coffee and this delicious new creamer (if you love sugar cookies, you’ll love this):

Breakfast was a chocolate covered strawberry green monster shake (not pictured…I guess the caffeine hadn’t kicked it yet) Smile

Lunch was a salad with chicken, pecans, dried cranberries, and 2 tbsp. of Trader Joe’s Cranberry Walnut Gorgonzola Dressing:

Snacks for the day were:

I had a cup of this when I got home from work:

Dinner was a quick one from Trader Joe’s with a side of broccoli:

Tomorrow I’m trying out a new recipe for dinner, so stay posted for that. Hopefully, I will be feeling better by tomorrow so that I can make it to Vinyasa Yoga!

When do you start decorating for the holidays?
